The Park

We decided we needed to do something fun but not too stressful or expensive the weekend before Hazel started school, so we decided to go to the park by our house. There is a pond with ducks so we brought some left over hamburger buns to feed them. Erick at first didn't get that he need to tear the bun into little pieces and just chucked the whole thing into the water. Like the good mom I am I stuck my hand in the gross water to get it out for him.




After the bread was gone and the kids harassed the ducks for a while we went over to the play set at the park.


Delilah ate her lunch in the stroller and then managed to spit it up on herself. You can see her new little top teeth in this picture.
Delilah took control of the water I brought.


It was really hot and I noticed the kids were turning very red, not sun burnt, remember I am a good mom :) so I had put sunblock on them, they were just getting over heated. So we went home.

To get the kids cooled off we did what we have done all summer and went swimming in the backyard. Seriously our kids have been in that pool almost everyday. They all got sun burnt one day so I said no swimming the next day until their skin healed a little and that day I heard so much whining that they were bored.
Their favorite thing to do is have me or Isaac throw them into the pool. I think Isaac enjoys doing it a little too much.
They also like to bring the bathroom stool outside and stand on it and jump into the pool.
