Hazel started first grade a couple weeks ago. Kindergarten was only half day so this was her first year going all day long, it was a little scary for her and me. This is also her first year eating lunch at school. We got her Tinkerbell lunch box all packed and ready for her first day.
I took her school clothes shopping and she picked out a really cute outfit for the first day.
A friend gave her a bag for her birthday that you color and decorate yourself and she insisted on that being her bag for school.
I got her to school. She was excited and nervous. She got a little more nervous when it was time for me to leave. It was so hard for me to walk away from that scared little face.
She had a great first day and she seems to really like first grade.
