On the 4th of July we usually go to my parent's house for a big barbecue but because David was coming
home on the 13th we decided to wait and do that on the 24th (Pioneer Day in Utah). I have heard the City we live in does a really good big firework show for the 4th so we decided to stay home and do our own barbecue and go see the fireworks.
Isaac made hot dogs and hamburgers, the kids call them crabby patties, thank you Sponge Bob Square Pants.

My kids won't eat the buns, they want it on a bun but they always disassemble it and rarely eat the bun.

I made
Plum Pie it was really good.

Then we went early to find a good spot for the fireworks. Keeping the kids happy while we waited was a little difficult.

I finally gave Evan my phone and let him call people just to give him something to do. Sorry mom, Daniel, and Kati but you kept him happy for like an hour.

Fight between Delilah and Evan over my phone. She might be little but she isn't afraid to stick up for herself.

Sorry Erick I had to share this picture it was just too funny.

Erick would get all excited over small fireworks he could see other people doing.

It was past Delilah's bedtime and she started to lose it.

Then the fireworks started. Hazel was so excited she was clapping and screaming.

These fireworks were a lot louder than the smaller ones and they scared the crap out of Erick. He hid behind Isaac.

Then he fell asleep in the middle of the show.
