So like I said in my last post usually my family does a big barbecue on the 4th but this year we waited until David came home and we did it on Pioneer Day.
After we eat we always do fireworks. The boys always turn regular fireworks into bombs and see who can make the loudest or most destructive bomb.

Carlye with her camera. Very Pregnant. Happy to say she has now had her
baby and she is adorable.

Evan loves Daniel, he calls everyone who lives at my parents house "Daniel" even my mom.

Lesley was chasing the kids around for a while. They had a lot of fun with that.

Erick giving his dad some bomb making tips.

Jaxen, he loves Delilah. He got very stressed that I had put Delilah down for a nap and she was missing all the fun.

When it got dark we started real fireworks. My dad had this spinning one he put on a ladder. At one point it got stuck and he actually pushed the firework to get it to keep spinning as everyone yelled at him not to touch it.

Evan's messy face. He got the scratch on his nose when he fell face first onto the cement as we were getting in the car to go to sports class one day. He was tough though, he still went to sports class and played.

A firework that caught on fire and caught several old ones on fire.

My mom of course had the glow sticks for the kids. That is Delilah all decked out in them.

The guy in the cowboy hat is Don Korth, a guy from my parents neighborhood. He comes over every year now. The first year we thought we were in trouble, he is a retired firefighter and we were doing illegal fireworks.

This firework tried to kill me. It went up in the air and I looked up and thought "that is right above my head" so I moved over a couple steps and it landed right next to me.

Carlye of course took better pictures than me so if you want to see them you can check them out
HERE There are a lot of cute ones of my kids, and some of my dad touching the firework and one of the amazing pies I made :)
