Fight Club

We seem to have a child Fight Club going on in our playroom. We all know the twins have been fighting pretty much as soon as they were born. Now that they are older they are starting to really hurt each other and I am getting sick of cleaning up blood.
literally

Evan likes to throw things. Once he threw an empty chocolate milk container at Erick and it hit him just right and cut his head. I found him with a good amount of blood pouring down his face. But it didn't compaire to a few weeks ago when Evan smacked him on the head with the metal part of a dog leash. It was Sunday morning and me and Isaac were trying to get a few more minutes of sleep. I could hear Erick and Evan fighting over the baby monitor and then I heard Erick start to cry hard. I asked Isaac to check on him and then I heard Hazel say "OH MY GOSH THATS A LOT OF BLOOD! I'M GOING TO GET MOM!" I was up and out of bed and down stairs before she could come get me. We found Erick covered from head to toe in blood. Isaac got to him first and I went after Evan to find out what happened and put him in time out then I went to see how Erick was. This is when I discovered Isaac is not good in a crisis. He was cleaning out the twins little potty while Erick sat there bleeding. It was kind of weird how fast I was able to get the bleeding stopped, I thought by the amount of blood that he was going to need stitches for sure but it stopped so fast he didn't need them. We got him cleaned up and after I washed the blood out of his hair I could see the leash gave him 3 little cuts. For some reason since I have had Delilah blood makes me sick, I was never that way before. I had to have Isaac clean up the carpet (the above picture) and the bathroom floor while I took care of Erick. Evan actually felt really bad that he had hurt Erick so bad. Both the twins and me were pretty much ruined for the day. When we went to church they wouldn't let me leave them, I had to go to Primary with them.
Hazel is not innocent in this. She also gets in her share of fights. One day she decided to push Evan off of the couch and he smacked his face on a chair. His eye was all swollen. It looks a lot like an injury Evan gave Hazel.

A few days later it turned into a really nice black eye. This actually happened right before Erick's head injury so when I went to Primary with them I had to explain why Evan had a black eye and that Erick had been bleeding all over that morning.
Lets just say I am done with the fighting! We have started a new thing. The kids are trying to earn a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium by being nice to each other. We have a jar and if I see them being nice to each other and sharing they get a marble in the jar, if they are fighting I take one out. If they get all the marbles we go to the Aquarium.

So far its working pretty good. They don't have many marbles in the jar but we haven't had any serious injuries in a while.
So I am hoping to have a blog post in a while about our big trip to the Aquarium.
