Green Day

I have been reading this book called Where are my slippers? to the twins. My parents brought this book home from a trip to Hawaii and all of my kids love it. Hazel learned her colors from this book so I decided to get it out for the twins. Well I discovered the twins were not doing so great with their colors. Evan just named random colors and Erick always said green. So I decided to copy my sister and do color days.
We didn't go totally full out like she did but my kids didn't care. They had fun.
We started with green because Erick seems to like that color.
We dressed in green clothes. You can see Evans black eye.

Then the twins colored paper bags green.

(Erick wanted his colored like Brobee so Isaac helped him)

Then we went outside and found things that were green to put in their bag.


Then we had a green lunch. I got green cups for the green cool aid. And they ate green apples, avacodo, and green jello on green plates.
Then we had green eggs and pancakes for dinner. They looked pretty gross to me but the kids thought they were really cool.


All day long I pointed green things out to the twins. Now when I ask Evan what color something is if it is green he says "Its Green Days!" Erick still says everything is green.
We have Orange day planned and will be doing that next!
