Fun Day With Cousins At Grandma and Granpas House

For Tyler's birthday this year my family and Chris and Lesley got him a Butterfly Garden. Unfortunately it didn't arrive in time for his birthday so we decided to meet Carlye and her kids at my parents house to give him his gift and give the kids some play time together. When we told my mom we were coming and bringing swim suits she set up the kiddie pool and filled it before we got there so it would be warm for them. What a good grandma.

We brought Delilah's swimming suit but she didn't join in the swimming fun. She actually seemed a little worried about the whole thing.


Evan has no hips or butt so he was having problems keeping his suit up all day.
Kati got home from work and decided to join the kids. While she was getting changed the kids ditched her.
We found the kids in the sand box.
When we told them who was in the pool they joined her.


Hazel jumped over Kati and I got her right as she was landing.

Carlye brought Otter Pops for the kids.



This is my niece Maddie. Due the end of July.
And Carlye before you complain about me posting this picture just keep in mind I didn't draw a face on your belly before I took the picture.
While Delilah was eating dinner she decided with each bite she needed to bite the spoon and not give it back until she decided to.
While we were getting the kids dinner we discovered they had been busy little beavers building a dam in the pool. Tyler told me they were pretending the wood was alligators.
We thought the kids were starting to get tired and the fun was almost over but then Papa came home from work and decided it was a good day to check the sprinklers.

Erick doesn't like sprinklers at all. He really hates getting water in his face.




The kids started complaining they were cold so we told them to do what we used to do, lay out on the hot cement. That always warms you up quick.

My mom was even nice enough to watch the kids while me, Carlye and Kati went to Five Guys and picked up dinner for us. I discovered Five Guys has Vault soda, me and Isaac love that soda and Utah doesn't have it anymore. Isaac said he now has a new favorite restaurant.
It was a really fun day for all of us.
