The weekend before Valentines day the twins colored some valentines, and then gave them out at Kati's birthday party the next day. They were so proud of them.
Hazel's teacher had given the kids the option of using the envelope they made in class or bringing a cute decorated box in for valentines. Being the crafty mom I am we went for the cute box. We did a mail box and I even found some paper in my stash with post stamps with flowers and butterflies. Whats funny is I didn't have to buy one thing for this box. I have a nice little collection of craft stuff.
Hazel ended up being the only one who brought in a fancy box but she was so super proud of it.
Because Isaac had to work he thought it would be nice if we had lunch together so he went and picked us up Cafe Rio. And Evan decided to join us.
Because I knew Hazel would be bringing a lot of treats home from school and the twins aren't in school yet I decided to give my kids valentines so the twins got treats too.
For dinner I got a heart shaped pizza.
And I set the table with candles and turned off the lights and even gave the kids sparkling cider. Hazel kept saying she was pretending we were at a fancy resturant.
