Delilah started off as such a sweet baby but her temper started showing pretty early. This girl could throw a tantrum as good as any 2 year old by 6 months old. She is very stubborn. Usually with little kids you can distract them with something and they will calm down and forget about what they were upset about, not Delilah. The other day Delilah had eaten a good dinner (spaghetti as you can tell from her face in the video) and I really wanted a few minutes to sit and eat my dinner so I gave her a cookie. Well she finished her cookie and wanted another one, she started crying and screaming and throwing stuff till I gave her another one. She finished the second one and wanted another one, I tried to distract her with the Gerber yogurt bites she loves but she didn't want those, she wanted another dang cookie. Finally after 4 cookies I got out the camera and got a video of her tantrum over the cookie as I tried to give her yogurt bites instead. Finally I give in and give her another one.
Delilah is also very funny. I gave her some raisins and she didn't really want them but she decided to pretend to eat them and then say "MMMM". She thought she was so clever.
I love this little girl more than anything but boy she is going to be trouble as she grows up. Even her siblings know to watch out when she gets mad, she has no problem hitting or biting the older kids. And she can do the best sad face ever so there is no staying mad at her.
Nothing.

She is 18 months. 18 months and still not walking. Not because she can't just because she doesn't want to so she won't do it. That girl drives me crazy. I have to stay in nursery with her so she doesn't get trampled by the other kids.
