Playing Cards at Grandma's House

Last Friday Delilah had 2 doctors appointments. One was just a check up and the other was at Primary Childrens Hospital to see a dermatologist for a mole she has on her ankle. Delilah is a healthy fat little baby. And the mole on her ankle is nothing to worry about. I guess if they are born with a mole (which she was born with this one) it doesn't follow the usual guidelines for moles. We just have to make sure it doesn't do anything weird. And it will also keep growing as she grows so she will probably want it removed but we decided we will let her make that choice when she is older. I will say it again, I hate going to Primary Childrens. I have now had to take 3 of my 4 kids their to see different doctors about different things, and I always leave there feeling so sad after seeing those really really sick kids. I hope I never have to bring a child there again for any reason.
Then later we took my grandparents their annual Old Spaghetti Factory dinner. They can't really leave the house anymore so we do this for them once a year.
Then we went to my parents house. Carlye and her family came over too so it was a party. The guys helped my dad move some furniture from my grandparents house to their house.
While they were doing that a guy who had been a missionary with David stopped by. His name is Sam and he has only been home 2 weeks. He had become good friends with David and had actually been on the phone with David before coming over.
I guess David's cute little sister is very popular with the missionaries in David's mission. Sam seems pretty happy in this picture.
Delilah has never met her Uncle David so she found a replacement for him.

So we have found our Stand In David until the real David gets home :) Just kidding David, no one can replace you.
Hazel has learned how to play the card game War at school. It is a fun way for them to work on their numbers. I told Hazel that her Grandpa knew how to play it and had some cards. He was too busy to play but he gave Hazel and Tyler some cards so they could play.

The little kids were not happy about being left out of the card game.

So I found some Uno cards that they had already bent up and gave them those so they pretended to play a game.

After the guys were done with the furniture my parents ordered pizza. I love spending time with my family. It is kind of funny when someone new is over and can witness our craziness. I like the saying Carlye put on my families blog "Insanity doesn't run in this family, it gallops."
