Christmas Day

When I was little before we could go see what Santa brought we had to wait in my parents room until everyone woke up so we could all go in together so I made my kids do the same thing. Hazel was pissed. She had been up since 5am but the twins didn't wake up till 8am.

It looks like Santa thought my kids were pretty good this year.



Santa even left gifts for the animals.




Delilah liked her gift from Santa.

And Erick was nice enough to help her play with it.


She had help opening her other gifts too.

Hazel notice Santa didn't finish his last cookie so she took care of it for him.

We opened all the gifts from under the tree.




Hazel got a Ballerina Barbie and a Barbie house. The twins both got Nightmare Before Christmas blankets with their names on them and Spiderman toys. Delilah got a mirror and a Gloworm. I gave Isaac a new robe and a gift card to Famous Footwear and Isaac gave me a shirt (picture of that later) and a little tv for the kitchen.
Later we took the kids out to try their new bikes. I thought kids just knew how to peddle a bike turns out that they do not and it is a very hard thing to teach. I ended up just taking the twins to the top of our drive way and holding onto them as they rolled down it (its on a hill). I think Hazel was starting to figure it out but still had a hard time stopping.


Then we went to my parents house for more gifts and dinner.
Kati got the same shirt from Carlye that Isaac had given me.

Yes we both thought Alaska was an island and our family loves to tease us about it. But come on, even on the dang shirt it is all by itself! So in case you didn't know Alaska is not an Island. If you didn't know this you can officially join the dummy club with me and Kati. Sorry you will have to buy your own shirt.
