Kindergarten
Hazel is now all registered and ready for kindergarten. She went in for her placement tests a couple weeks ago and she is officially a genius. Ok, they didn't say that but they did say she definitely didn't qualify for All Day Kindergarten, which is for the kids who are a little behind. We got her letter telling us what class she is in and who her teacher is and everything. She will be in the same class as her friend Kati which is nice.
The flu
We all got sick (except for Evan for some reason) again a couple weeks ago. Erick started throwing up one morning and few nights later Hazel threw up all over her bed about a half hour after I put her to bed, then Isaac came home from work and started throwing up and I joined in the puke party around 4 am. It was not fun. It was hard because both the twins were well by then and we had to feed them and take care of them while both me and Isaac just wanted to stay in bed. I also had to cancel my first appointment with my new doctor (more info to come on that). The next morning the twins did have their doctor check up which took me over 3 months to get so I really didn't want to cancel that. Luckily we were well enough to drag ourselves to that, which leads me to . . .
Twins Doctor Check Up
Our pediatrician is a really really good doctor, I have had other doctors tell me that. The only problem is he has decided to go part time so he is really hard to get in to. When I called to make the appointment I had to make it for 2 months away and then a few days before the appointment they called and said there was scheduling problems and they had to reschedule it for another month away. Anyways we got there and both twins are healthy and perfect. They were even nice enough to give Hazel a bucket to throw up in because she started not looking so good. The bucket never got used though.
The Pregnancy
My pregnancy is going fine. Braxton Hicks contractions have started which I hate. They just make me nervous because I had to be so careful about not going into labor early with the twins. I haven't been to the doctor in a while. A few weeks ago I got a letter from my doctor, Dr. Langland saying that he had been called on a mission and I would have to find a new doctor by the end of the month. I was pretty upset because my doctor I had for my first 2 pregnancies, Dr. Reiser, died 6 months after delivering the twins so I had already had to find a new doctor. Dr. Langlund was Dr. Reisers partner so I just decided to go to him so I could just go to the same office and everything with this pregnancy. When I went into labor with Hazel Dr. Reiser was not on call, Dr. Steele was taking his patents that night so Dr. Steele delivered Hazel and he was really nice so I have decided to go to him. I did figure out after he delivered Hazel that he was my friend Ericka's doctor and her mom and sisters all go to him and totally love him. So I canceled my last appointment with Langlund and made one with Steele.
Anyways the day of my first appointment I was sick and when I called to reschedual the receptionist was really super nice about it so I figure that is a good sign. I have to have a RhoGAM shot at 28 weeks so I figured I would just put off the appointment till then so I wouldn't have to go in again to just get the shot. So my appointment is next week.

The Ghost
So we had something creepy happen the other night, me and Isaac were both in our basement and all the kids were in bed. Me and Isaac both heard someone walking around upstairs. I thought it was one of the dogs at first but then realized they were both asleep down stairs with us. We kept hearing it so Isaac finally said "Hazel is awake, i am going to go put her back to bed". A little while later he came back down and said all three kids where in bed asleep and there was no one up there. We kept hearing it for a little while later and then we went upstairs and went to bed. The next night as we were falling asleep we heard a noise down stairs and Isaac went to investigate and found nothing. In the middle of the night Isaac got up and came back to bed a little while later. In the morning Isaac had already left for school and I got up with Hazel and discovered all her bedding that I had washed (from her having the flu) was piled in front of the basement door and the twins golf sets were on top of it. I had left the bedding folded on the floor in the living room until I could get a minute to put it away. I asked Isaac about it when he got home and he said he had done it in the middle of the night. One of the kids had been coughing and he got up to check on them and then decided to set a "ghost trap". He said if anything came up from the basement then we would know. I was laughing so hard when he was telling me this. He finally said "Hey, it sounded totally reasonable at 3 in the morning!"
