An Almost Trip to the Emergency Room

I will show you 3 pictures and I am sure you can guess what happened . . .

Yes, the little monster stuck a freaking bead up his nose!

He came into Isaac saying something about his nose, Isaac looked up there and discovered the bead. He brought Evan to me and I tried pushing on it from the outside and it wouldn't move. My mom was at church so I text Daniel and Kati (who always have their phones) and told them to have my mom call me asap. She called me back in a panic thinking my water had broken. I told her what had happened and saying the words "Evan has a bead stuck up his nose" was too hilarious I was laughing so hard. She didn't know what to do and told me to Google it (which I learned this is not an uncommon occurrence)and if I couldn't find anything there (which I found nothing I hadn't already tried) we would have to take him to the emergency room. I tried a few more times with the tweezers and he was crying and fighting me and I was worried I was going to push it farther in. We decided Isaac would take him to the emergency room and I would stay home with the other two kids. We got his shoes on and everything and right before they left I decided to try one more time with the tweezers and this time I was able to get it out!
Evan was so upset because he thought he was going for a ride in the car. It was lunch time by then so Isaac took Evan and got us all Mcdonalds. Erick was really worried about his brother. He knew something had happened and then Isaac took Evan and Erick kept crying and saying "I want Erick", he calls Evan by his own name for some reason.

You are such a Fab MOM!!
I LOVE reading your blog...You do it all from making creative teachers gifts for Hazels Kindergarten graduation, to rescuing your adorable son out of a guinea pig cage and being part surgeon( and "pro" wrestler ) By removing a bead from your toddlers nose, and you do it all while you are pregnant on top of everything...You are super mom. I especially loved reading the poem "You know your a mom if..." I hope you don't mind I had to put a copy of it on our blog page to...It was so funny!! Keep in touch-
