Watching the parade.
The twins got a TON of attention there! I think it was because I had them dressed alike and their shirts were really cute and of course my kids are completely adorable. Isaac was pushing the stroller and I was following behind (my mom had Hazel) so I could see all the people peek into the stroller and then I would hear them comment to each other on how cute they were. There were lots of times I would hear someone say "go look at those twins over there" and someone would come and peek into the stroller. At one point I left Isaac with the twins to go look at something and came back to find some random guy taking a picture of them with his phone. He had asked Isaac if it was ok.
The kids have a lot of fun playing on the deck at the cabin.
As Evan and Erick get older they want to play more with Tyler and his cool boy toys. I love watching them play with boy things with Tyler but it does make me a little sad because Hazel gets left out. No girl cousins on this side of the family for her to play with. When she tried to play barbies with Tyler he pulled Kens head off!
Kati brought her boyfriend with her.
This is Tyler aka Greg, we told him we already had a Tyler so he had to choose a different name. His mom teaches Kindergarten, his dad does something with computers and his brother wants to be a oral surgeon. He doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up. He uses Herbal Essence shampoo and Axe body wash. He likes to snow board and doesn't watch much tv. Him and Kati were totally teased and tortured all weekend.
We slept at the cabin on Saturday night. We got the kids to bed and then stayed up and played a fast game of "Tim Wins" aka Phase Ten. By the way Tim did not win. When me and Isaac went down stairs we found Hazel in the middle of the king size bed on all the pillows totally spread out. It was so funny I had to take a picture.
On Sunday Carlye took our family pictures. It was awful. Carlye says we are the worst family she has ever done. Carlye wanted to do them at 3 different places. Hazel fell asleep in the car so when she woke up she was not in a good mood. We went to some train tracks and for some reason Evan was scared to death of the tracks and the train parked on them. Hazel tripped on the tracks and fell so I had both Evan and Hazel crying and all Erick wanted to do was sit and throw rocks so anytime we picked him up he threw a tantrum. I think Carlye did get some cute pictures and I will put them up when I get them. Thanks Carlye!!!!

My mom had a booth up there for a few years back in the day. We actually just sold a bunch of the stuff we bought there at my mom's garage sale. Haven't been there for a while now.
(I just copied the comment I made on Carlye's blog)
But- I think that would be fun for you to have a booth! What would you sell? Probably all those crafty things you learned to do while on bed rest, right? :)
I would sell crocheted afghans and scarves. Yes I made 5 afghans while on bed rest! Carlye wore a scarf I made her there a couple years ago and had a bunch of people ask her what booth she got it at. And I made some for Christmas presents for people at Isaac's work and one of them said she helps her mom do a booth and said I should do one.
It gets so crowded there now. It is kind of a pain to go but it is a family tradition.
Looks like you had a good time at Swiss Days!! Kati has a boyfriend!! how exciting!!
