Hazel's First Day of Kindergarten

I had Delilah on Friday and Hazel started Kindergarten on that Monday. With a c section you have to stay in the hospital 4 days so I was supposed to come home on Monday so I missed her first day of school. When I told one of my nurses that I would be missing it she talked to my doctor about me going home Sunday night. He said if I was doing good then maybe I could but he didn't seem like he was going to let me. Well I was having some trouble getting up and moving around, I kept getting dizzy and nauseated and going really pale, then on Sunday I had some issues with my heart rate being really fast and my oxygen being low and my nurse was worried I was getting pneumonia (I didn't) so I knew I wasn't going home that night so I didn't even ask about it.
Isaac took Hazel home Sunday night. I had laid out her new school clothes before I had left for the hospital and we had got her some headbands so her dad could just comb out her hair and put one of those in (Isaac doesn't know how to do girls hair). I told him to take lots of pictures for me so he did.

New backpack she got for her birthday.

Her school mascot is the Hawk

I was really sad I missed her first day. When my nurse came in after Isaac and Hazel had left I cried a little to her about it. I had several nurses and the pediatrician ask about Hazel that day.
Isaac picked Hazel up after school and took her out to lunch and took her home to change clothes (she hates wearing shirts with sleeves) and then they came and picked up me and Delilah from the hospital.
Hazel is loving school and we are now in a little carpool with her friend Katie. It is so funny to listen to their conversations on the way to school.
I had forgotten how much it sucks to get up early everyday for school, blah. Especially after getting up with a new baby all night.
