Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas eve we always go to my parents house and have crab and pizza (for those who don't like crab)
After dinner we found Evan sitting under an end table with my mom's Christmas books. It was really cute. He sat under there for a while just happily reading.

Me and Carlye both help our kids make cookies on Christmas eve and this year we just decided to do it together at our parents house. It's funny we both bought the same kind just with a different shape. Hers were snowmen mine were Christmas trees.

When we got home we put out cookies and soda for Santa. We put soda out because Santa has to stay up all night delivering presents so we thought he could use the caffeine. We also put a carrot out for the reindeer.

Santa came and brought the twins a basketball hoop and the movie Up and some books. He brought Hazel the new Tinkerbell movie and books and a play kitchen. And since the kitchen took Santa over 3 hours to put together he very much appreciated the soda we left him.

When Hazel woke up that morning she came in and told me she wanted to go see what Santa brought her. I told her to go turn off her bedroom light (it wakes the twins up) and then to come climb into bed with mom and dad for a while (considering we were up till 3 am I didn't want to get up yet). She ran and turned off the light and then after about 5 min I realized she was not coming back and had gone down stairs. She soon came back up and told us to come see what Santa had brought.

We got the twins up and they got to see what Santa had brought them.

Santa didn't forget about the dogs or Teederbee. The dogs got bones and Teederbee got a tunnel to play in.

Hazel also got a doctors kit

And a guitar

Evan and Erick both got Bat mobile toy cars and
Evan got a Viking dress up set with a hat, sword, and shield

And Erick got 2 100 piece containers of Mega Blocks

After the twins took their nap we headed over to my parents house for more gifts. Hazel got play food to go with her kitchen.

Erick got wood blocks and Evan got a ball and toy cars.
We gave my parents a date night kit. With makings for dinner and the movie Bedtime Stories.
We exchange names with my siblings and this year we had Chris and his girlfriend Lesley. I made Lesley an afghan and we got Chris the script to the movie Fight Club.
Then we ran over to Isaac's mom's house to give her a gift.

Then it was back to my parents for dinner. After dinner David called (he is on a mission right now). We all really miss that kid. He seemed really happy to hear Evan get on the phone and say "HI D".
By the end of the evening all my kids were totally exhausted and were having melt downs so we got them all in PJ's and headed home. The twins were asleep in the first 5 min of the drive home but Hazel was still too excited and stayed awake. When we got home she just wanted to play with her new toys. I remembered the quilt her Grandma Fogg had made her and I told her we should take her up stairs and get her snuggled in her new blanket. That worked. Pretty soon she was fast asleep wrapped in her new blanket.

Me and Isaac had gotten the latest Harry Potter movie (thank you Daniel) so we decided to watch it in bed. I didn't make it, I fell asleep half way through. But hey I have every right to be tired ;) Luckly Isaac turned the movie off before he fell asleep.
