Christmas Activities

So now that Hazel is in preschool this was our first year having to do a gift for teachers. I asked my friend Rachel (a preschool teacher) for ideas and she suggested several things and one of them was homemade soap. I figured I had made soap before and it was super easy so we went with that. Hazel was so proud of her gift.



We are one of the few people who still get a real Christmas tree every year. Hazel helped me decorate it.


We went to my parents house for a weekend. Isaac, Chris, and Tim go shopping together every year to buy gifts for their other halfs. So they did that on Saturday while me and Carlye hung out with the kids.
Me, Carlye and Kati were chatting in the kitchen and I thought I better check on the kids and found Tyler finishing off Kati's advent calender.


Kati seemed a little sad about it.

This is the second one he had destroyed. When we asked him why he did it he said he was "STARVING". And when his mom told him to tell Kati sorry he said "I am not sorry". I laughed so hard.
On Sunday we decorated gingerbread houses. Hazel woke up sick so she did not have as much fun as the rest of us.









Daniels house kept falling apart so we declared it "condemned".
I don't remember what I did but Carlye started coming after me with a crazy look in her eyes so I took this picture for evidence in case I needed it in court.

The next morning Isaac's step mom Emily stopped by with a surprise for the kids, a Thomas the Tank Engine train table. When Isaac carried it in both twins said "wow". They really love it. We now have it all set up in the basement for them. Thank You Emily and Marc!!!



That night Isaac had to work so I took the kids to the annual Bradshaw Christmas party by myself. As soon as we got there Evan started acting like he didn't feel good and I realized he was coming down with the same thing Hazel had the day before. I gave him some IB Profen and he started acting better.
My Uncle Jon cooked dinner and it was amazing! He is Italian and he made the yummiest italian food ever! I am always trying to get Hazel to eat something other than chicken nuggets and she started eating and all of a sudden yelled "I LIKE NOODLES!" Erick really enjoyed it as well.




The kids had a lot of fun playing in the cuboards.
