A few things that have been going on at our house

We haven't had a ton going on lately but we have had a few things worth mentioning.
First thing I want to talk about is my new mop that I got for my birthday. I know that sounds boring but I LOVE this thing. It is the H2O Steam mop Ultra. I saw it on an infomercial and told Isaac I wanted it. I have never bought anything off an infomercial before but I needed a new mop and I liked the idea of just cleaning with steam and not chemicals. And this mop has a glider thing so you can steam clean the carpet and it part of it comes off and turns into a hand held steamer so I can clean other things too. I was shocked when I was using it on the carpet and it started pulling dog fur out of the carpet and I had already vacuumed.
The twins love to throw food. They let me know they are done by throwing their plates on the floor. I have discovered smashed dried on banana and dried spaghetti o's are really hard to get off but this mop took care of it without a ton of scrubbing.

Another thing that has happened at our house is we had a mouse. We already have a Fogg Family rodent (Teederbee) and we only have room for one. Both me and Isaac thought we saw something move early in the mornings in the kitchen and living room but we never actually saw a mouse. It was very polite and never left any trace that it was there. One night Isaac went downstairs to get something and when he turned on the lights he heard it run across the kitchen floor. He came back to bed and said to me "I don't want to alarm you but there is definitely something living downstairs". I bought some glue traps the next day and when I got out of the shower that night I found it stuck.
I took this picture to freak my mom out but I thought I would share it with you too.
Never get the glue traps! They are really cheap (and thats why I got them) but it was so awful to see it stuck there trying to get out. I felt so bad. I kept apologizing to it and explaining why we couldn't have it living in our house, I know I am weird. Anyways I kept the dogs in the bedroom with me until Isaac got home and could take care of it.
Hazel had a teddy bear picnic at school that she was really excited about. She decided to take her pink bear that Uncle David had given her. She had several practice picnics in the basement with her bear. On the morning of the picnic she was super excited and she had a ton of fun.

The twins are being devils for Halloween so Isaac has been doing their hair in horns. That face might look Innocent but we picked out the devil costume for a reason.Isaac noticed Erick had a spaghetti o on his ear that looked like an ear ring so he took a picture.
To save money I borrowed my brothers hair clippers and cut the twins hair myself. I have never cut a boys hair before. I trim Hazel's bangs and that is about the extent of my (successful) hair cutting experience. I think I did a pretty good job.

I did such a good job Isaac let me cut his too.

I want a mop like that! Mere crawled in the church where those long tables and chairs go under the stage (we were decorating for the church trunk or treat) and got her hand in one of those glue traps, sooo gross and it doesn't come off, I"m so glad she didn't stick her hand in her mouth! NIce job on the hair cuts, I don't want to cut mere's hair, it's coming in straight now, no more curls :( I do cut saki's though, curly hair is so much more forgiving than straight-thanks for the Halloween photos...i love hazel's skirt!
