Erick and Evan got their first hair cuts today. It was spur of the moment. We were going to Walmart to grocery shop and I just told Isaac we should get their hair cut while we were there. Erick really needed a hair cut, we were trying to do the skater shag hair but it wasn't working. Evan's hair wasn't bad but his has curl to it and he was starting to look a little like a girl so we had the back trimmed up to make it look more masculine.

My cousin Elizabeth had pictures of her daughter Mere eating with a spoon on her blog. Mere was born the day after the twins and I was amazed that she was doing that well with a spoon because ... well you will see why.
Evan tries to use the spoon. I think it is funny how he holds it in one hand and eats with the other.
Erick on the other hand feels that the spoon slows him down.
Eventually Evan even gives up on the bowel and dumps the food out (usually on his lap) and for some reason holds the bowel while eating. Can you guess where Erick's bowel is? Yep on the floor. That is my sign he is done.
One of the funniest things about Erick is he feels he cannot have two things at the same time. If he is eating and I hand him a drink either the drink or his plate ends up on the floor. Today he was eating mac and cheese (their favorite) and I put a nutragrain bar on his plate and he picked up the nutragrain bar and threw his full plate on the ground. He is a weird kid.

Well-Mere is using her spoon a lot, but she still uses her hands at times, and still Loves to throw everything on the floor when she's done! I DONT LIKE THAT! Where do they learn such things!
Tyler threw everything on the floor too. I swear I could have mopped my floor every single day. I love how Erick just nicely drops the spoon on the ground--like it wasn't supposed to be in his bowl in the first place.
Thats why you need a dog. They clean it all up. They even clean off the kids. :) He does that every time with the spoon.
