My kids now call St. Patricks Day, Leprechaun Day because their favorite part of the day is trying to catch a leprechaun. The night before they set their trap and they colored a picture of a rainbow as bait.
The next morning they woke up to all the chaos the leprechaun had caused throughout the house. But they didn't catch him.
He left foot prints across the rainbow picture.
He left chocolate gold coins where he had made mischief .
He also made our milk green and left the kids Lucky Charms for breakfast.
My mom had a little pot luck dinner at her house that night. We all brought green food and my mom made corned beef.
