Hazel Turns 7 Years Old!!!

Hazel turned 7 on August 6. She is such a funny sweet little girl. She can be very helpful when she feels like it. She loves school, and learning. She is a good little reader, and she is also good at math (even though she doesn't like it) and thanks to Uncle Daniel she can even do a little multiplication. Her best friend is Katie Keil but sadly she moved a couple weeks ago but Hazel is excited to make some new friends this year in 2nd grade. Her favorite color has always been pink and I don't think that will ever change. Her favorite food is corn dogs especially the breakfast kind made with pancake and sausage. And she loves chocolate milk. She loves to swim outside in our little pool and play Barbies. When she grows up she says she wants to make and paint vases to sell. Her favorite song is Tarzan and Jane by Toybox and she decided she wanted a Tarzan and Jane birthday party.

Aunt Carlye and her family gave Hazel the perfect swim suit to wear to her Tarzan and Jane party. Hazel loved it and kept telling me she looked like Jane. She also had me do her hair like Jane from the music video.
Because it was so hot she wanted to have a water party. So we got out the pool.

We got a palm tree sprinkler that didn't work so great.

And a slip n' slide

And the giant Monkey was a big hit.

I put out jungle food for the kids too so they could snack while they played.

Chocolate covered bananas

Coconut cookies

And Jungle Water

The kids also made some jungle bracelets.

Hazel opened presents.

And then she blew out her candles and the kids had monkey cupcakes.

Please take some time to admire the monkey chocolates. It took me over 2 hours to make one batch of 3. I figured I put in at least 10 hours total on them.
