A Very Busy Halloween and a Wedding Reception

This Halloween was really busy for us. We got the kids all dressed up and had a little melt down from mom because the twins wouldn't let me put make up on them or wear the masks that came with their costumes. First thing we did was we went to a Trunk or Treat at Carlye's ward.

It was funny because me and Carlye did not plan the skeleton costumes together. All our boys like Nightmare Before Christmas and they all wanted to be Jack Skelington but that costume was too hard so both me and Carlye decided to just do Skeletons and then discovered we had had the same idea.

We picked up lunch on the way to my parents house. I told the kids no candy till after lunch. In the car Evan started freaking out saying "look at him" I look in the back set and see Erick chowing down on chocolate.

Evan found this old gas mask in my parents box of Halloween stuff. He wouldn't wear his own mask but he liked this one.
After we finished lunch and rested for a few minutes we went over to Susan and Mikes house (Isaac's mom) and visited them for a while.
Then we went back to my parents neighborhood and trick or treated in the rain for a little while. The kids kept dragging their sacks on the wet ground but I guess even wet candy is good when your little.

Delilah's wiskers and little black nose didn't last very long. And she wasn't very thrilled about being out in the cold rain.
We made it around one block.

Here in Utah and I think Idaho if Halloween is on a Sunday we celebrate on Saturday. Well Chris and Lesley forgot about that when they planned their reception and they planned it for that Saturday. So after trick or treating we changed clothes and washed faces and went to the reception.
They got married at the begining of the month in Hawaii

Carlye of course was the photographer

Lesley was nice enough to think of our kids when choosing a reception center and got one with a tv so they could watch a movie.

Hazel is still wearing her cat ears. She even slept in them.

We got home around midnight and me and Isaac had both been up really late the night before so we were exhausted. The next day we skipped church, slept in and sat around the house and did nothing!
