Tricky Leprechauns

For St. Patricks Day this year me and Hazel decided to set a trap to catch a leprechaun. I told her if we caught one he would have to grant us a wish. She decided she wanted to wish for a kitty when we caught it.
To get started we decided we needed some bait. Hazel drew a very pretty rainbow to lure our leprechaun into our trap.

Then we put together our trap.

I know it is not very fancy but I have been sick. Hazel was nice enough to share her stomach flu with the rest of us. So I did the best I could on the trap with the little bit of energy I had.

The next morning we saw that the trap had caught something so Hazel got ready to catch the leprechaun when I lifted the box.

Looking at Hazel's face you can tell she was a little worried about trying to catch it.

That tricky leprechaun got away but left a bunch of chocolate coins behind. He did like her picture so much though he took it with him.

She did later remember about wishing for a kitty and got a little sad but eating a few of those chocolate coins made it better.

Look what good mom you are... even when you're barfy.

Luckily I was only barfy all night sunday night and a little on Monday. Unfortunatly it did totally zap my energy. I still feel weak. Being pregnant and not eating for two days does not mix well.
