The Heart Beat

So yesterday I had my second doctors appointment with this pregnancy and we got to hear the baby's heat beat. I think hearing your baby's first heart beat is the second most best sound in the world, first being a baby's first cry. The doctor said it sounded perfect. We took Hazel with us and she seemed pretty excited to hear the baby. She was mad at me that I didn't let her come to the bathroom with me while I peed in the cup. She thought peeing in a cup was so funny. Everything is going well. I got the usual comments on my blood type. I am AB negative, i guess it's rare. And as usual he reminded me I need a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks because my blood is RH negative. Can I just tell you how happy I am that that shot is available. Without it I would have never been able to have another baby after Hazel. We also discussed my migraines (which I had one at the appointment), I get them a lot with hormone stuff and have had a lot lately. The only thing I can do is Tylonal and caffeine and he said to make sure I get at least 8 hours of sleep at night (so glad Isaac was there to hear him say that). I also talked to him about how tired I was and he said my iron levels were good so it should start getting better soon now that I am starting my second trimester.
The day didn't start out very good. I don't do very well during long car rides especially while pregnant. We dropped the dogs off at my parents house and as we got back on the free way we went up the curved ramp and I started feeling sick. I told Isaac "I don't feel good" he said he would drive carefully and I said "No, I really don't feel good" and then you can guess what happened.
We stopped at Carlye and Tim's place for lunch, and to clean up the car (amazingly when you are pregnant you can puke and still be hungry). And they were nice enough to watch the twins while we went to the appointment. The twins love playing with Tyler and Jaxen.

Carlye of course took more pictures which you can see on her blog Morgalicious Morgans

We really did have fun watching them... and they aren't really monsters. In fact they were really calm the whole time.
