Sledding at the Cabin

Every winter my family goes sledding at our family cabin. It is really fun but kind of hard. Because the snow is so deep we have to park on the main road and hike in with all our stuff. The kids were really excited to go to the cabin with their cousins. Erick and Evan started playing a little game with my dad. They would run into the kitchen do a little dance then both run and give my dad a big hug. It was really cute.
Not every grandpa gets double hugs like this.
The kids and the dads had a lot of fun sledding. I was a little worried when I came out to get some pictures and found out that my dad had been sending the twins down the hill all on their own but they seemed to do alright. I also wasn't happy when my dad pushed me down in the snow. I got snow on my pajama pants! Yes I wore my pajamas the whole time I was there and just threw on a coat and boots when I went out side. It was pretty pathetic.
Anyway here are some pictures . . .

A 3 sled crash. Evans foot looked horrible. His boot was turned around backwards so it looked like his leg was really broken but it was just the boot. But no one really got hurt.

Erick didn't really like sledding. He decided to lay down in the sled and when I walked by to get a picture I accidentally kicked snow in his face. Instead of being a good mom and helping him, I took pictures. No mother of the year awards for me.

Carlye just a warning, we still have some glorious pictures of you from last year so don't even think of posting any bad pictures of me from this trip or yours will become public.
