The Cabin

We went to our family cabin last weekend with Carlye and Tim's family and Chris and his girlfriend Lesely. It was an unpleasant drive up there because Evan got car sick and puked twice. We had to stop at the store so I left Isaac with Evan to clean him up and I took two kids into the store. That is the first time I have ever taken two kids to the store by myself and I have to say you people that only have one child at a time have it easy! Finally we got to the cabin but our car still smells like puke.
For some reason when we are at the cabin we always feel the need to stay up till three in the morning playing phase ten after we get the kids to sleep.There were a lot of ups and downs in the game for Carlye.We always get so tired we start acting a lot weirder than usual.


The funniest part is to see us all in the morning. This kids don't care that we have been up half the night and they all get up at 7 am excited to play. We all look like complete crap.
During the game Chris caught a bee and named it Jerry. Jerry past away the next day in his cup.The kids had a ton of fun.







A trip to the cabin wouldn't be complete without an injury. Hazel was running down the dirt road and fell. She was ok, nothing a few rainbow bandaids couldn't fix. I showed her the scar on my knee and told her how I fell at the cabin too when I was little.I took a picture of an animal footprint that was on the deck.

You can tell how a child's day was by how dirty they are at the end of it, and I could tell my children had had a VERY GOOD day!
