Hazel's Bad Day

Hazel had a really bad day today. We were at my mom's house and she was helping Nana pack to go to the cabin. She heard me coming and was running to the door and ran right into the corner of the dresser. She now has a nice cut and bump right above her eye.
Then later she was playing behind the couch and all of a sudden burst in to tears. She had a little red spot on her leg so I thought there was something sharp that she poked her leg on so I checked behind the couch and there was a freaking BEE! She had gotten stung. It scared me because this was her first bee sting and I didn't know if she would be allergic. My mom called the doctor to find out how much benadryl to give her while I comforted her and got her chocolate milk and a cookie (because that fixes all ouches). Anyways it looks like she is not allergic to bees and the chocolate milk and cookie seemed to make it stop hurting as bad.
All of this had to happen the day I am taking all three kids to the cabin for Swiss Days without Isaac. I hope the rest of the weekend goes better.
