AT one of Erick's therapy appointments the therapist told me she was worried that Erick had scoliosis (a curve in his spine) due to the torticollis. That really scared me. I have very mild scoliosis and so did my uncle. It can be genetic. It can be mild and not cause any problems but it can also be really bad and can cause alot of problems. It is usually found in teens. The therapist said she would call our pediatrician and talk to him about it. The next day the pediatrician called us and he said he has never seen it in a baby and wanted to call orthopedics at primary children's. After he talked to them he told us to make an appointment with a doctor there who specialises in scoliosis. We had the appointment yesterday and he has a little curve but the doctor said just let him be a kid and develope more strength in his back and he should be fine. We have a follow up appointment in 6 months just to check it.
When the doctor first came in he had a x-ray (Erick hadn't had one yet so we new it wasn't him) of a baby Erick's age with a bad curve. The doctor figured out he had the wrong patient. I felt bad for that mom.
Nothing.

I'm glad things aren't too bad.. That's still a worry, but I'm sure everything will be ok.
